Cupcakes & Cookies

Our cupcakes and cookies are great for all occasions from birthdays, tea parties, coffee mornings, girls' nights in, office parties, corporate events etc. How about a gift basket for that special someone?  They also make a great alternative to party bags and favours at children's parties or baby showers.  Or just because.......  

Our delicious cupcakes and cookies are baked fresh to order using only quality ingredients such as Belgian chocolate, Madagascan vanilla and free range eggs.  Cupcakes can be made with various combinations of flavours and toppings to suit all tastes whilst our range of cookies are covered with fondant.  We are of course happy to accommodate special requests.  If you have a special flavour in mind just let us know. 

We are happy to cater for our customers with specific dietary requirements.  All of our cakes can be made using our gluten free recipe whilst our fondant and marshmallow toppings are also dairy free. Please note that although nuts are not used in any of our sponge cake recipes we cannot guarantee an entirely nut free environment.

As our cupcakes and cookies are made fresh to order the minimum order is 12 of any one flavour.  Toppings can however be varied. 

 

Prices:

   cupcakes - £2.25 - £3.25 each.

   cookies   - £2.25 - £2.75 each

        where cookies are to be individually bagged and ribboned please add 25p per item 

        cookies can be piped with individual names for 25p per cookie

Our flavours:

Our delicious cookies come in vanilla, chocolate, orange spice or ginger.  Our most popular cupcake and sponge cake flavours are:

  • Vanilla Bean – our most popular flavour
  • Chocolate fudge – made with real Belgian chocolate
  • Zesty lemon – made with fresh lemon zest and drizzled with a fresh lemon syrup
  • Red Velvet - an American classic made with buttermilk and cocoa
  • Espresso - made with freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • Carrot cake - one of your five a day?
  • Irn Bru - Scotland's other national drink?

Suggested cupcake toppings:

  • Buttercream – vanilla, chocolate or coffee
  • Light chocolate truffle – a whipped ganache made with chocolate and fresh cream
  • Fresh cream topped with seasonal fruit
  • Cream cheese frosting
  • Marshmallow frosting (dairy free)
  • Fondant (dairy free)

Decorations:

Just let us know who the cupcakes or cookies are for and what the occasion is and we will design them to suit.  Please see our gallery for some examples.  A few suggestions are:

  • Handcrafted sugar flowers in a variety of colours and styles
  • Handcrafted 'tartan' fans - popular for wedding cupcake towers
  • Teddies, baby faces or cartoon characters
  • Fondant numerals, initials or logos
  • Chocolate covered espresso beans
  • Selection of sweeties
  • Seasonal fresh fruit (raspberries with our zesty lemon cake are particularly good)
