Every cake is individually designed by Lynne using your own ideas and working with your colour scheme. Sugar flowers are a particular speciality and provide a beautiful lasting memento of the day. These can be made to complement your bridal bouquet and colour scheme. A more economical alternative is fresh flowers and we are happy to work with your florist. Hand modelled figures can also be removed from the cake before cutting and are long lasting.
The price of Wedding cakes varies enormously depending on number of tiers and style. As a guide a three tier wedding cake will generally range from £270 to £500.
Wedding consultations can take place at our premises or we are happy to come to you or meet at your wedding venue throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Cupcake towers are now a popular alternative to a traditional tiered cake. We also have a range of cupcakes and cookies which make fantastic wedding favours.

The traditional choice of rich fruit cake yields twice as many portions as a sponge cake. Because it keeps well it is ideal for more elaborate cakes where it would be difficult to complete all the decoration at the last minute. It also allows the top tier to be kept for a christening cake!
There is no reason why you cannot have different flavours for different tiers. Please see our cupcake & cookies page for our sponge cake flavours. Bear in mind though that for obvious reasons rich fruit cake should not be stacked on top of sponge layers
Love it or hate it a layer of marzipan between the cake and the sugarpaste gives the best finish and keeps the cake beatifully moist. If however you do not wish us to use marzipan just let us know.
White or bridal ivory are the traditional colours but sugarpaste can be made in any colour!
Tiered cakes can be stacked or extra height can be added by using a wide variety of pillars and items such as candlesticks and perspex cubes to separate the tiers. Cake stands can also be hired to display each tier separately to give the cake a floating appearance. We are happy to advise you on the various options
Cupcakes and cookies can be made to complement your wedding cake for the reception or bridal shower.
Presented in cellophane bags with ribbon to match your colour scheme they make a fantastic alternative to wedding favours. Cookies can also be used as edible place cards.
